I fractured my tibia back in February (Tibial plateau fractire and spiral) and have had nerve damage to my foot. It has been over four months since the ski accident and I still have pain, tingling and a slight numbness in my foot. I am still not able to move my baby toe and it hurts sometimes to walk. The doctors have told me that it can take up to a year fpr this to heal, so if any of you have the same issues I guess the best thing is to be patient. According to my hysiotherapist it takes one millimeter per day to heal, which is why it is such a long process depending on how bad the nerve damage is.

A way to help with the odd foot sensations is to stick your foot into a bag of rice and move it around to help desensitize it. I also find a foot massage can help too if it is not to sensative.
